About The Artist

Tracy was born and raised in a small town in western Maine. She was always interested in drawing and painting. In high school, she took art classes and was invited to be a part of the gifted and talented program. These classes allowed her to experiment with many different media, but pen and ink seemed to suit her best.

Although very interested in the visual arts, Tracy chose not to pursue the path after high school. Instead, she attended the University of Maine in Farmington where she earned a B.S. in early childhood education. She taught for several years at the preschool level where her creative nature was very useful.

Throughout those years her pen and ink was more of a hobby than anything else and her time for it was limited. Designs were only created for special events and holidays, i.e. invitations and Christmas cards. Friends and family were always pleased with the images and urged her to do more with them than just the occasional card.

In 2003, she met her now husband Scott and moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area.  After two years teaching in the area she wanted something new. She began work at a well known gift and antiques shop. There she learned more about starting a small business and the world of retail. With support from Scott and her family and friends, Tracy began to focus more on her true passion and less on her 9 to 5 job.  Word started to spread and a small business was born.
